Medicare Advantage Application Development A leading provider of e-health applications, engaged Oleen Pinnacle to develop a comprehensive software module to handle Medicare Advantage. Oleen Pinnacle’s deep Medicare expertise allowed them to develop a Medicare Advantage Module and deliver it within budget and on-time. The module complies with the CMS Security policy and provides the ability to capture and export data to CMS and CMS appointed partners, and allows the selection of claims data to meet the requirements needed for submission of RAPS encounters. It supports the ability to download data files received from CMS and to systematically upload data into the Managed Care application to reflect status and demographic changes. It also identifies Health Status, tracks and maintains the history of Diagnosis Disease Groups, out-of-area members, HEDIS Medicare Health Outcome Survey Participants and the status of ESRD beneficiaries. The module automates the reconciliation process and allows for the automation of enrollment / disenrollment letters as well as supporting the generation of Working Aged Surveys and Letters. With this new capability, the software vendor was able to penetrate the Medicare market, gain market share, and increase revenues.
